Making a Gift of Stock

Join other community members in investing in education and stewardhip by making a gift of stock.

Columbia Springs accepts gifts of stock to support our educational programs. Donating the full value of your shares is a tax-efficient method of contributing to life-long learning and community stewardship. Columbia Springs sells all shares of stock immediately upon receipt.

Planned Giving

By designating Columbia Springs in your will you can create a legacy of education and stewardship of the environment.

There are many ways to make a lasting contribution in supporting children, education and commuinity stewardship for generations to come. Columbia Springs offers a variety of planned giving options to ensure that our educational programs are accessible to children throughout Clark County.

These include:

  1. Outright gifts of stock or cash during your lifetime, reducing your estate tax-burden.
  2. Including Columbia Springs in your will.
  3. Making Columbia Springs a beneficiary or partial beneficiary in an insurance policy.
  4. Creating a charitable remainder trust.

 

All information discussed is confidential. Columbia Springs is not engaged in rendering legal or tax advisory services. For advice or assistance in specific classes, the services of an attorney or other professional advisor should be obtained. Advise from legal counsel should be sought when considering these types of gifts.

From individual contributors and volunteers to major corporations and foundation supporters, the community provides the support needed to ensure the success of Columbia Springs schools and community programs.

Contributions of time, talent and funds helps us to fulfill our mission to provide environmental education to the community in an urban setting.

Corporate Matching Donation

Matching gifts are an easy way to enhance your contribution. Many companies have a matching gift program to support employee interests and demonstrate their commitment to the community.
