Kids Fishing Festival
Enjoy a day of fishing fun!
Thank you to those who made the 2014 Kids Fishing Festival a success! Over 270 kids caught over 520 trout! Check back in January for the date of the 2015 Kids Fishing Festival!
Kids are invited to Columbia Springs to enjoy a day of fishing and fun activities. Each registered participant is guaranteed to catch a trout to take home. Fishing gear and a fishing mentor provided.
Children between the ages of 5 to 14 years old are eligible to fish.
Participants are required to sign up for a specific hour to fish. Due to limited space on the fishing docks, only kids who have registered in advance will be allowed to fish; there is no space for walk-in’s. You may sign up for the following fishing time slots: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. (reserved for children with special needs), 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., 12 p.m. – 1 p.m., 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and 2 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.. While participants must fish during the hour they registered for, there is lunch from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and kids activities for your party to enjoy anytime.
There is a $5 per person registration fee which includes lunch, access to festival activities, and free fishing pole and tackle for participating fishers.
