Wood's Landing/ Columbia Grove

The 2010 Circle of Life Celebration was a spawning success! Join us on Saturday, December 3, 2011, to once again celebrate the return of the Chum Salmon to their native spawning grounds. This community event strives to celebrate the ecological, cultural, and historical significance of salmon to our beloved northwest home. Festivities include naturalist interpretation at Wood's Landing overlook, a Native American blessing ceremony, and a salmon bake potluck. A huge thank you to the Wood family for generously hosting and catering this annual celebration.

The Circle of Life Celebration is hosted at the Columbia Grove and Wood's Landing property at 3412 SE Riverwood Court Vancouver, WA. Lots of parking available in the meadow, but carpooling is encouraged. Recommended to bring: sunglasses, binoculars, and umbrella.

For more information or to RSVP contact Sandy and Erskine Wood at columbiagrove@msn.com or by calling 360-892-1443. Questions can also be directed to Mariah Acton at volunteer@columbiasprings.org or call 360-882-0936 ext. 230.
