Collaborating to Accomplish Projects

Thanks to a giant collaborative effort between The Wall construction company, Mutual Materials and the City of Vancouver Public Works, we are creating a permeable outdoor meeting space in the backyard of our Visitor Center. Using the friction between the bricks and pressure from a steel plate to be installed along the outer rim, these bricks will adhere to each other without adding anything other than sand between the bricks. This will allow for water to run through the bricks and small plants to find a home there. Thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible!

Our Visitor Center will officially open April 13th with an Open House from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
