How can you talk to family, friends and neighbors about Climate Change?

Our six-part series of hour long talks, lead by educators Grace Teigen and Gene Wigglesworth, will refresh you on the science and history of this complex subject. You’ll discover exciting and innovative technologies to combat this challenge and get a good grasp of not only the looming danger but also the many positive signs that overcoming predictions of doom is possible.

You will practice effective ways to discuss the issue and even be introduced to the art and music that surrounds initiatives to combat Climate Change. You will come away feeling competent and empowered with techniques for confidently sharing information along with more that 100 ideas of what you and others can do.

Forest Therapy

Immerse yourself in a guided Forest Therapy Workshop! The smell of western red cedar, the sounds of wind, and the crunch of maple leaves below your feet. Experience a series of slow, mindful activities designed to open and engage the senses and connect you with nature in a way that invites healing interactions.

This relaxing experience is hosted entirely outdoors, rain or shine. We will engage in a mile of slow walking on earthen trails and non-vigorous activity. Please arrive as scent free as possible to maximize the ability of all participants to appreciate the amazing aromas of the forest.
