The end of the year is a season of giving, and this year that spirit is especially important to the organizations around you. The Columbia Springs team has shown great innovation and creativity throughout the trials of 2020 by finding ways to show up for our community in a time of need. Through the creation and distribution of hundreds of masks to keep community members safe, to the facilitation of small and safe nature programs for youth and virtual learning materials, Columbia Springs proved again to be an invaluable source of healing, support, and connection. While we are incredibly grateful to be part of this great community that we love so much, our organization is also facing a time of great need.

COVID-19 impacted our normal field trip, summer camp, and event programs this year. Now, more than ever, we need your help to keep the Columbia Springs mission going, to inspire stewardship and a love of nature. It is our goal to raise $5,000 by the end of the year to support our programs, and we think that we’ve found a really fun way to make this happen. So, who’s ready to send this year off with a little friendly competition?
We have been blown away by the support of our local businesses. They have generously provided us with a number of prize packages that we would love to share with anyone who donates. In the spirit of giving, we are proud to announce the 2020 Columbia Springs Holiday Raffle! We have some amazing things up for grabs during the last 12 days of December, read to the end of this message for a preview!

How does the holiday raffle work?

  1. From December 20-31, a prize will be featured on our social media pages each morning.
  2. For a chance at winning that item, make a donation of $20 or more on our website on that day.
  3. Every $20 donation = 1 raffle ticket. (ex. if you donate $80 you will be entered four times!).
  4. Check back the next evening to find out if you won.
  5. Watch our social media pages on January 4th, 2021 to see if we made it to our goal of $5,000!

Other Ways to Win

We know that not everyone is able to give a monetary gift this year. There are lots of other ways to support our work. Columbia Springs is also in need of several items to keep our programs running smoothly. Here is our wish-list for the end of this year. If you have any of these laying around that you would like to get rid of, please send them our way! For each item you donate you will be entered into our raffle for the featured prize of that day. Donate an especially large or expensive item and you will be entered several times.
