At Columbia Springs

Learning is at Your Fingertips, Beneath Your Feet and All Around You

Over 6,000 local students participate in science-based field trips each year. Curriculum for the field trips is designed with Next Generation Science Standards with help from local school district administrators to create the best programs possible that support in-class learning.

We offer a variety of programs for elementary students at our beautiful 100-acre outdoor classroom. Programs connect with school science curriculum and allow students to see first hand the plants, animals and natural ecosystems that sustain our community.

Our Field Trip Programs

Browse our Field Trip Programs to learn about their NGSS alignments, cost, and what grade levels they serve.

Request a Field Trip once we are able to bring this program back to Columbia Springs! Our field trips are more effective when aligned with your lesson plans. Please note, we get a lot of requests. The sooner you are able to register, the more likely we will be able to accommodate your request. If you’re able to come in the afternoon, we typically have more openings.
