Johnson Bixby, a financial planning firm in Vancouver, WA, and Columbia Springs have many joint focus areas, making the support of Columbia Springs a natural one for CEO and President, Heidi Johnson Bixby, CFP®.
Johnson Bixby’s support for Columbia Springs began nearly 15 years ago when Ms. Johnson Bixby lived a half mile from Columbia Springs and our founder, Dean Sutherland, approached her about joining our Board of Directors.
Since then, we have received support from Johnson Bixby in many ways. Ms. Johnson Bixby volunteers at events as a photographer because, “The look of surprise, glee and curiosity on the face of the children is priceless.” She commissioned chainsaw artist George Kenney to add art to Columbia Springs on dead cedar trees around Heron Loop Trail. As a member and past chair of our board, she provides leadership and guidance, bringing her knowledge of financial planning and the history of Columbia Springs to the table.
