What do a salmon scale and a tree ring have in common? What critters live in our wetland? Explore these questions and more at Columbia Springs' Family Nature Days! Start at our Visitor Center for maps, information and activities. Choose your own adventure around our forests from there with volunteer led activities, games and Guided Walks! Donations accepted.

February Event Theme: Plants and Seeds!

Learn about the traditional uses of common plants (ethnobotany), let us show you where to find cool plants on our site and more. We hope to see you there!

Enjoy the fun all year round on the Last Saturday of the month! We will have activities in our Visitor Center on the Last Saturday of the month for our Winter Nature Days from January to April 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with rotating activities. Family Nature Days starts on the Last Saturday of May with more activities spread across our site until August. On October 31st we will have our final hurrah with Family Nature Festival with our biggest (and spookiest!) event of the year. Join us at one or come to them all!
