How do we motivate giving? By informing passionate people about particular causes and asking them to financially give or volunteer their time to help.
Give More 24! is a community wide giving day sponsored by the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington and 170 local non-profits. Columbia Springs is one of them.
The theme of the day, September 19th, 2019 is BeCause.
BeCause it’s one day when your giving means more.
Give More 24! brings together our entire region for 24 hours of giving (9/19/19). By giving together and cashing in on more than $500,000 in match dollars, non-profits and donors will make one incredible impact. BeCause we believe our community can raise $1.6 million in 24 hours for local charities.
We all have a reason to give to Columbia Springs. Whether it is preserving and restoring our 100-acre natural area, teaching 6,000 children about nature or because we invest our time here by volunteering, Give More 24! will help. Our goal is to connect with 150 generous individuals to support Columbia Springs financially in 24 hours.
Giving primarily happens online at our Give More 24! website at https://www.givemore24.org/organizations/columbia-springs or drop a check off at Columbia Springs Heron House on the east end of the site near West Biddle Lake.
